The next community environment day in Etobicoke is Saturday June 2nd, 2012 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Snow Storage Facility (207 New Toronto Street – East of Kipling Avenue across from the CN Rail yard).
Drop off the following for recycling: Cell phones, small electronics, printers & fax machines, household hazardous waste, fluorescent bulbs, computer components, small TV’s, unused medications, oils, solvents, pesticides, propane tanks and inkjet & laser cartridges.
Goodwill will be there to collect items for reuse (sporting goods, books, small household items, textiles in good condition) and non perishable foods for the food bank.
Donate to schools for reuse: art supplies, buttons, keys and collector’s coins and stamps, CD’s and cases, children’s books, clipboard, corkboards, costume jewellery, fabric pieces and yarn, 35mm cameras and equipment.
You can also pick up for FREE: leaf compost, exchange damaged green bins for new ones.
